October is unique in so many ways, it is the time when we experience the beauty of fall colors and celebrate the harvest.  The Catholic Church celebrates the Holy Rosary and Guardian Angels.  Praying the Holy Rosary connects us to our Blessed Mother and opens us to receiving her grace.  It is in this connection to her that we become closer to our Heavenly Father.  In the Holy Rosary, we find a special connection to our Heavenly Father and the guardians He sends are more evidence of the magnitude of His absolute love.  How often do we look back and think about that feeling that guided us away from or toward something that had a profound impact on our lives? 

Each of us has a Guardian Angel that is with us, and their presence can be felt when we find ourselves pushed in a direction that when we look back, we see their work with incredible clarity. Even when our loved ones are called to their Heavenly home, their Guardian Angels are there to accompany them on their journey home. We are sent into this life by a God who knows us in the womb, a God who sets us on our path toward paradise and even when we were lost, He sent His Son, and our Guardian Angels to be our guide.  

We are called to love God and love each other as we love ourselves and the Ten Commandments are the map.  Such simple rules to live by and even when we fail to follow the map, He gives us every opportunity to find our way back.   We are not promised a life without pain, we are promised that if we follow the Son, we will find our way home. 

Death is not the end of our lives; it is simply the end of our earthly journey and the door we must enter to our home and our Guardian Angels will be there to greet us as we enter.
